Projects
Selected work across machine learning, systems, web development, and event organizing.
Cardiac MRI Inference from ECG
2026Ongoing research with MIT's Computational Cardiovascular Research Group on representation learning for cardiology—predicting MRI-relevant cardiac phenotypes from ECG-derived signals. Building the data pipeline, modeling stack, and evaluation framework focused on generalization, failure modes, and clinical interpretability. The lab uses machine learning and signal processing to turn clinical signals like ECGs into predictive computational biomarkers and risk models that guide clinical decisions.

NASA CubeSat Flight Software
2026Flight control software for a CubeSat satellite selected for NASA's CSLI (CubeSat Launch Initiative) program, with launch scheduled for April 2026. Embedded Python running on a Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller that manages all satellite operations including attitude control, communication, power management, and mission phases through a finite state machine architecture.

Graphene — Research Paper Discovery Platform
2025Full-stack web application that helps researchers navigate academic publications by visualizing paper citation relationships in an interactive force-directed graph. The platform addresses information overload in academic research by aggregating papers from three major academic APIs (Arxiv, OpenAlex, CORE) in parallel, visualizing citation networks using D3.js physics simulation, and generating AI-powered summaries using Google Gemini 2.0 Flash.

HackHarvard China Challenge
Event2025Shanghai, China
150+ attendees · 50+ Shanghai high schools · expanding to Greece, Turkey, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, South Korea, and India
Helped run HackHarvard China for high school students by building beginner-friendly workshops and bootcamps, then supporting teams through mentoring and judging.

Kidney Allocation Simulation Framework
2025Built a simulation framework analyzing 150,000+ patient-donor interactions to optimize kidney allocation policies. Designed algorithms balancing efficiency, urgency, and fairness objectives, with automated parameter sweeps and data visualizations.

Planetary Health Data Science — Madagascar & Nepal
2025Research with Golden Lab's Planetary Health Research Group at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health analyzing climate-linked health impacts. Compiled and validated datasets of harmful algal blooms and marine intoxication events with geocoordinates, then linked outbreaks to ocean-color and environmental satellite data to study warning lead times. Analyzed relationships between drought/cyclones and malnutrition/mental health, sea temperature rise and harmful algal blooms, deforestation and vector-borne disease, and wildfire-driven air pollution impacts on stillbirth and acute respiratory infections.

TACO: Multimodal Image Compression with Cross-Modal Attention Analysis
2025Research project analyzing how cross-modal attention mechanisms affect multimodal image compression. Built evaluation framework to systematically test attention ablations and visualization tools to inspect model behavior. Conducted experiments on 600+ images across 25 conditions, finding that architectural regularization effects drive performance improvements more than caption content at inference.
